What To Wear To Legoland California
Planning a fun trip to Legoland and wondering what to wear? Ive got you covered with this ultimate guide for moms & kids!
For my sons birthday, we took the whole family to Legoland to spend a fun day out together! We spent the day riding lots of fun roller coasters and spent the entire time walking around enjoying the park. We also managed to go on just about every ride at the park. We even got to ride on some of the rides twice since there were virtually no lines!
It was about 60 degrees there since we went in winter. It was just chilly enough to wear a lightweight jacket but overall it was comfortable.
Summer time at Legoland can get a little warmer with an average of 75 degrees. I would still recommend packing a light weight cardigan for the temperature drops in the evenings and brisk mornings no matter what time of year.

What Can Moms Wear to Legoland?

If you plan on going on any of the rides, you may want to consider wearing biker shorts underneath your dress to keep you safe from any outfit malfunctions.
You can also wear a romper or a skort dress to feel breezy without the risk of wardrobe malfunctions on the rides.

- Comfy bottoms like elastic waist denim, leggings, shorts or stylish joggers

- Hat & sunglasses if you can get your little one to wear them, otherwise you'll likely be carrying them
- This may not be clothing but bringing a stroller for any littles can make getting around your day so much easier
Should my kids wear swimsuits to Legoland?
If you’re planning to visit the Legoland Water Park, YES! Either pack a swimsuit and water shoes or dress them in quick-dry clothes. Don’t forget a plastic bag for wet clothes afterward!
My daughter wore a comfy black track suit which had a big & bright neon rainbow patch on the front and lots of bejeweled sparkles throughout. She also wore her favorite pair of already broken in tennis shoes. The shoes are also light up! So as the day turned to dusk, her shoes sparkled and we could still easily see her running around the playground at Legoland.

Bonus packing tips for the BEST Legoland OOTD!
- Check the weather ahead of time. This way you can get a good idea of how many layers you might need to bring. We went in February and it was 60 degrees. It wasn't freezing, but chilly enough to want a lightweight jacket.
- Pack sunscreen & a hat. I still managed to get a sunburn with sunscreen even though it was cloudy the entire day.
- You will be on your feet all day long, so wear comfy shoes.
